Data security and who owns your data
Your ERP holds your prices, customers, salaries and books. Security means only the right people see each part, nothing is lost, every change is traceable, and the data stays yours.
Who it is for: Owners, finance heads and anyone responsible for IT.
Key points
- Give each person a role that shows only their desk.
- Make sure backups are taken daily and restored in a test now and then.
- Keep a log of who changed what, and when.
- Get a written promise that you can export all your data.
