Manufacturing ERP
Runs a factory from the customer order to the dispatched, invoiced part: what to buy, what to make, on which machine, and from which raw-material lot.
Who uses it: Machine shops, auto component makers, fabricators, plastics, rubber, textile and food processing units: anyone who turns raw material into products.
What the company gains
- Buy only what the orders need, so less cash sits in raw material.
- Know the real cost of each part: material, labour and scrap.
- Trace a defect back to the supplier's lot in minutes, not days.
- Promise delivery dates you can keep, because stock and capacity are visible.
Government rules to follow
- GST records
- CGST Act s.35: keep a true account of production, stock, purchases, sales and input tax credit.
- Job work
- CGST Act s.143: send material to a job worker on a delivery challan. Inputs must come back within 1 year, capital goods within 3 years, or it counts as a sale.
- ITC-04
- The principal reports goods sent to and received from job workers: half-yearly above ₹5 crore turnover, yearly below.
- E-way bill
- GST Rule 138: goods moved with a value above ₹50,000 need an e-way bill.
- Labour codes
- Wages, PF and ESI for every worker under the four labour codes in force since 21 November 2025.

Not yet: E-invoice and e-way bill generation from inside the ERP need a GSP account and are not live; you generate them on the portal and record the numbers.
Rules checked on 7 November 2026. Laws and limits change; confirm with your CA before you act on them.
