Trading and distribution ERP
For businesses that buy and resell without making anything: purchase, stock in one or more godowns, sales orders, delivery and collection.
Who uses it: Wholesalers, distributors, C&F agents, stockists and dealers.
What the company gains
- Reorder before a fast item runs out, and stop buying slow ones.
- See margin by item, customer and salesperson.
- Collect faster: who owes what, and for how long.
- Fewer GST mismatches, because the invoice and the stock come from one record.
Government rules to follow
- Tax invoice
- GST Rule 46: both GSTINs, place of supply and HSN code. HSN has 4 digits up to ₹5 crore turnover, 6 digits above.
- E-invoice
- B2B invoices need an IRN from the government portal when aggregate turnover is above ₹5 crore (since 1 August 2023).
- Input tax credit
- GST Rule 36(4): claim credit only for supplier invoices that appear in your GSTR-2B.
- E-way bill
- GST Rule 138: goods moved with a value above ₹50,000 need an e-way bill.
- TDS on purchases
- Income-tax Act, 2025: buyers above a turnover limit deduct TDS on large purchases of goods from one seller. Ask your CA if it applies to you.
